It converts 4 Legacy outputs of a multiswitch or Quad LNB into 2 Legacy outputs + 2 dCSS to enable easy use of next-generation decoders (including MySKY HD and SKY Q boxes), using the same connection cable to the socket and without "disrupting" the pre-existing Legacy distribution system. The device can be powered through the lines or with an external power supply (optional code 80275C).
